Amazing view from the cottage, with beautiful hills and a mesmerizing stream at the end of the garden. the cozy sitting room and separate dining area are perfect for a romantic getaway. Plus, the log fire adds a touch of romance. the kitchen is well-equipped and has everything needed to prepare a delicious meal.
Squeaky floorboards make it challenging for a romantic night when you have to get up in the middle of the night. It can be quite annoying, especially for older folks.

The kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated, and the cottage had a charming and cozy feel. The location was peaceful and quiet, with a babbling brook nearby adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It was also a nice touch to have outdoor furniture available to enjoy the surroundings.
Our experience was marred by a few issues. the car maneuvering in the narrow lane was quite challenging.

We had such a wonderful time staying at River Cottage. The cozy and clean ambiance made us instantly feel at home. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, making it a breeze to cook our meals. The wood burner added a touch of coziness to our evenings. The location, although a little remote, provided us with beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved relaxing in the sunny garden and listening to the nearby stream. The beds were comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were top-notch. With Snowdonia mountains and stunning beaches just a short drive away, there was never a shortage of things to do. Kate, our host, was incredibly communicative, helpful, and generous. we had a perfect and memorable stay at River Cottage. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home during their travels.

I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in a fantastic location for exploring the beautiful surroundings of north/mid Wales. The cottage had everything I needed and provided a cozy rural retreat. I especially appreciated the key code box that allowed easy entry into the cottage. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I even found some Welsh cakes, chocolates, and milk as a thoughtful touch. The highlight for me was sitting by the crackling log burner with my dog, enjoying a movie after a delicious roast dinner. The views from the back garden were breathtaking, and there were plenty of walks right on the doorstep. The nearby pub, Fairy Glen, was a pleasant walk away, although they don't allow dogs inside. Parking was a bit challenging initially but became routine.
Although the bathroom was adequate, it could benefit from some updating. Additionally, the cot provided didn't fit in the twin bedroom, so we had to sleep in the twin room instead of the lovely master bedroom.

What a lovely little cottage! Perfect for our family long weekend away. Set in a stunning location just 30-40 minutes from Snowdon, it's on the outskirts of the main national park. The cottage is well-equipped, cosy, and has a peaceful scenic surrounding. The owner provided great communication, and little touches like milk, water, and traditional Welsh cakes on arrival made it even more special. We would definitely stay here again.
Would be happy to recommend this cottage.
